DG FLAGS OFF TRAINING FOR NYSC TOP MANAGEMENT AND STATE COORDINATORS IN KANO
The DIrector General has flagged off Training for NYSC Top Management and State Coordinators in Kano for enhanced leadership and communication skills by the workforce of the Scheme.
The DIrector General described the training as necessary in order to provide effective mentorship of the teeming staff members and also make external stakeholder engagement more result-oriented.
The DG also tasked the NYSC management and State coordinators to tap from the opportunities provided by the training for successful advocacy for stakeholders' support.
Earlier in his remarks, the Director Special Duties, Alhaji Musa Abubakar told participants that the essence of the training was to sharpen the skills of operatives of the Scheme at the managerial level in order to reposition the Scheme to be more in tandem with the current generation.
He added that at the end of the training, participants would be equiped with knowledge of measures and approaches for coping with changes in their work environments.
He rapped up his speech by appreciating the DIrector General for approving the conduct of the training for improved performance and higher productivity of Staff.
The Training Session is still ongoing at The Afficent Event Center, Sultan Road Nassarawa GRA, Kano.
